New fuel valve / petcock for numerous Honda motorcycles, and many other brands of motorcycle, scooter and moped. Fuel valve face plate is screwed on so the gasket can be serviced easily without having to drill out rivets and tap new holes.
Check the threading on your bike to be sure this is what you need before you buy. Measure the outer diameter of the threaded outlet on the gas tank, not the inner diameter of the petcock nut.
On / Off / Reserve. Built in fuel filter. Fuel exits to the side. Comes with rubber sealing washer for a tight fit with no leaks.
Threading = 14 x 1.5mm
19mm hex nut.
Ribbed fuel outlet for use with 3/16" fuel line.

THIS IS THE ONE- if you have been trying to figure out which one you need for your '77 CB400-Four factory tank, this is it. Threads on to the tank outlet the way Mr. Honda intended it to.
Works as expected

Installed on my 77' CB400F. Measured the tank before ordering and this one fit the bill.

For the money difference over a stock petcock this thing is a deal. Time will tell if it holds up for 35 years like my stock Honda petcock did. The reserve function is much lower in the tank than a stock petcock so the tank ends up with very little reserve fuel.
Good unit, but measure your threads before ordering

This is a pretty good duplicate of the OE unit, but your online catalog called for a 16mm unit #2 for my 1977 400-4. Fortunately, I measured my tank outlet thread diameter and ordered this 14mm unit, which fits perfectly, and no leaks. Flows fuel OK on both Main and Reserve positions, so a good deal at $10 - especially since my Honda dealer's parts book does not even go back as far as my 1977 bike.
