Very pleased; easily adapted to my Helix.

Posted by Mat on 28th Mar 2025

For those who don't know, the Helix uses a clevis on one side and an eyelet on the other. These shocks can be paired with an eyelet for use on a CN250. These are fairly nice for the money and represent a great alternative to expensive, limited production European units or ultra-cheap "OE replacements" at other websites. They seem like a step up from EMGOs and the machining seems good. I just left mine at full soft and they're very comfortable. I purchased the eyelet adapters (separately) and was able to make myself one eye-clevis shock and one eye-shock. The Eye-clevis side went in perfectly smoothly but it did require reusing the original metal sleeve INSIDE the new metal sleeve (at the bottom). The eye-eye side was slightly more complicated and I had to make a new rubber bushing and the metal sleeve fit was quite tight in the receiving clevis. I believe I also had to replace one or both bolts.

Shocks look good and customer service was wonderful!

Bought these to replace the ancient shocks on a 1982 Honda CM450, they look much better and ride better too in my limited winter testing. The real standout for me was the customer service, I stripped out one of the clevises in true shadetree fashion and shot 4into1 an email asking if I could buy another since they thread into the main unit; within 20 minutes of emailing I receive a email back with a nice message and a tracking number for a new clevis. If I need anything else for this bike I'll be buying it on here.
