EBC CK series heavy duty quality clutch plate set for Honda CX500, CB550F and many others. Check the list. This set comes with 7 clutch discs. This set comes with the same clutch plates as the CK1147 set. CK1146 has 7 plates and CK1147 has 8 plates.
NOTE: This clutch pack comes with 7 disks, 6 are the same and 1 is different. Check your model first to find out how many you need and if one is different from the rest.
EBC standard clutch kits are almost identical to original equipment clutch plates. These standard clutch kits are cork-based products impregnated with aluminum particles to increase wear life and heat resistance. These clutch plates are compressed to avoid swell and clutch drag.

Perfect fit and function for 1977 CB550K
I used these to rebuild the clutch basket on my 1977 CB550K. From the first ride, the clutch felt perfect. Not too "snatchy or grabby" and zero slipping under hard acceleration. The previous reviewer did not inspect his/her clutch basket closely enough, as different years of CB550 have different steel plate configurations and baskets. The '77 does, in fact, have larger tabs on the top friction disc. CHECK YOUR MODEL!

This is not the set you want for your CB550
The product itself is good, but this is not the set you want to buy if you have a CB550. One of the plates has larger tabs and will not fit into the clutch basket. If you order this set, you will need to buy a separate, single plate to complete your clutch rebuild. Do yourself a favor and buy the 8 plate set instead.
