Engine rebuild kit for the Honda CB/CM400 twins from 1978-1981. Time to rebuild? If you're diving in and doing the top end, replacing engine cover gaskets and replacing seals this is a great kit to have on hand!
Installation Tips:
Press your seals in straight with a seal driver or a socket with a slightly smaller OD than the seal. Both surfaces must be free of dirt to create an oil tight seal.
All sealing surfaces for gaskets must be clean and flat to make a proper seal, sometimes non-hardening sealant is necessary.

Fitment is Off on Some Parts
The cylinder base o-rings are way too thick to fit into the required groove. The head gasket also had two dowel pin holes that were too tight and the dowel pin wouldn't even slide through without ruining the gasket. The valve seals and cylinder base gasket did fit good, it was just the cylinder base o rings and head gasket that have issues. Went with the athena kit instead and had much better fitment.
