Engine rebuild kit for the Honda XL250 from 1972-1976. Time to rebuild? If you're diving in and doing the top end, replacing engine cover gaskets and replacing seals this is a great kit to have on hand!
Note: Honda used 3 different head gaskets. 12191-329-010 used up to Engine SN 1062714 and 12909-283-000 used up to Engine SN 2009778. The gasket in this kit is the later style, not the type used in some of the early K0 models from 1972. See photo.

Installation Tips:
Press your seals in straight with a seal driver or a socket with a slightly smaller OD than the seal. Both surfaces must be free of dirt to create an oil tight seal.
All sealing surfaces for gaskets must be clean and flat to make a proper seal, sometimes non-hardening sealant is necessary.
Fits Honda:
XL250K - 1972-1975
XL250K - 1976 - VIN# XL250-4000001 TO XL250-4012184
