Fuel valve / petcock for numerous Honda motorcycles, and many other brands of motorcycle, scooter and moped. Check the threading on your bike to be sure this is what you need before you buy. Many of the compatible models listed below used this 16 x 1.5mm petcock for part of the production run, then switched to a different size, sometimes in the same production year. We also have this 18 x 1.0mm petcock for some later models and other bikes.
On / Off / Reserve. Built in fuel filter. Fuel exits to the side. Comes with rubbery sealing washer for a tight fit with no leaks.
Threading = 16 x 1.5mm
22mm hex nut.
Ribbed fuel outlet perfect size for use with either 3/16" or 1/4" fuel line.

I was about to order this for my 1977 400-4, but my threads measured 14mm diameter, so I ordered that size and it fits perfectly and flows OK on both positions. I expect these units are all sourced form the same manufacturer in the People's Republic, so I would think quality is OK for all. And Honda would want a small fortune for an OE petcock - if they stocked it, which they don't.

Just what I wanted
Fit perfectly on my 1978 CB 550K with no problem. Clearance between carbs and head a little tight but it works.

Fit a 79 Honda cx500 perfectly
I'm still working on the overall bike and tank so I haven't tested it running but everything seems legit. Fit great and looks clean. This is a nice shiny petcock.

2nd petcock I've tried, great fit
I ordered a replacement petcock for my 1978 CB550k and it leaked after a week. So far this thing is snug and tight and no leaks whatsoever.
