    The packaging had it squished so the shorter and longer dimensions were switched, making it appear to be made wrong.

    The geometry of these gaskets was a bit funky. I had to maneuver it around for it to fit and stay in the groove. It is slightly smaller than the stock gasket (maybe because the stock gasket had 39 years of stretching out)
