Petcock rebuild kit for many of the the Honda CB/CL350, CB/CL360 and CB/CL450 twins. The kit comes with everything shown in the photo. If you've got an original petcock that can be rebuilt, make sure to clean every passage way thoroughly to let the gas flow freely. The gasket that goes in the middle of the threaded joint nut should sit flush against the tank once the nut is tightened. It's great to re-use the stock part when it's serviceable.

Fits on Honda Part: 16950-292-000 (petcock) which we also have available here.

  • 16956-283-000 - gasket for the joint nut that attaches to the gas tank.
  • 16955-283-000 - o-ring goes between the screen and the fuel strainer bowl.
  • 16953-283-000 - gasket goes behind the valve lever that turns the fuel on and off.
  • 16957-028-000 - Filter Screen that goes inside the fuel strainer bowl.

Fits Honda:

CL175K Scrambler - 1970-1971
CB350K - 1968-1973
CL350K Scrambler - 1968-1973
CB350G - 1973
SL350 - 1969-1973

    Good, but something wasn't right

Posted by Unknown on 10th Jul 2018

I needed to rebuild my fuel valve and this kit looked just right. It took some work to make it stop leaking because the valve to tank O-ring was just too thick. All the other parts were perfect, but I ended up using an old O-ring to get the leak stopped.

    No Leaks

Fit perfectly. After scrubbing the stubborn gunk from all the ports and smearing a thin coating of grease on the rubber seal I put it all together and voila, gasoline only goes where gasoline is supposed to go instead of running all over the place.

    Good but not complete

Posted by Unknown on 9th Oct 2017

This kits had nice quality parts but it was not complete. It was missing the spacer ring that holds the arm firmly between the main body and the bezel that screws in over it. If you're rebuilding your petcock with this kit then be sure to save the old part.

Great value at a Great Price!

Absolutely first quality at a very economical price. I challenge you to find a similar product at anywhere near the price. I go to 4into1 first to find what I need. I know this endorsement is glowing but I assure you no one paid me for it!

All The Hard to Find Parts

Posted by Kyle Mitchell on 19th Jan 2017

Each piece fit my stock petcock fine. If the brass inlet tube on your petcock is chewed up, check your local hardware store for inexpensive brass "hobby tubing". The right size is about 4mm. The hobby tube I found here in the US is measured in fractions of an inch, but you can find a very close match. I've still no luck finding a substitute for the tubular filter screen the Honda petcocks have over the reserve inlet tube. I suppose that's no great loss with the petcock screen and inline filters between the inlet and the carbs, as long as you haven't any debris in your tank large enough to block the inlet altogether.
