Small size 39mm high flow tapered air filter pod set for Honda CB500, CB550, CB750 and others. Now in BLACK! Fits the CB550 without hitting the frame like other larger filters! Comes with mounting clamps. Keep in mind, for the bike to run smoothly, you may need to install larger jets and make other adjustments to match the higher air flow. The rubber mounts are flexible and can be mounted on 38mm and 40mm carburetor flanges.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to measure your carburetor prior to purchase. Also measure how much room you have between the carburetor and the frame or any side covers. Use the dimensions below to see if these will work on your bike. Just because the filters fit the carbs doesn't mean they'll fit in the bike without some obstruction.
Dimensions:
39mm ID where it mounts to the carburetors

Pod Air Filters
Fit the bill perfectly on my 76 550F. Gave extra room over stock airbox and passed enough more air that I will need to go up a size on my pilot net. Extremely well made.

Looks as advertised installation was simple

Great pods
The Pod filters have worked out great. I put them on a 1977 CB550 K3. Plenty of room between the filters and the frame with about 5/8 of an inch clearance. Needle clip in the 3rd position, main is 98, slow jet is 42 with 4into1 exhaust.

Great look...barely fits
These look awesome compared to the stock airbox look. They do fit in the carb and in between the frame. The only issue I am seeing is that the choke lever is hitting the filter neck and not allowing full choke operation unless you muscle it past.

Fits 1976 CB550F
Good price. You need short pod filters to fit the frame on CB550F - these ones just fit, nice and snug. i ended up using some gasket maker to seal the air gap between the pod and its stem - they flow plenty of air as is! I run these pods with 110 main jets in carbs and after market exhaust. No issues

Cool, cheap pod filters
I've read a lot about pod filters online, and I think these may not be the greatest idea performance-wise for your bike. I have a CB550 that was chopped onto a 71 500 frame, and I wanted to put these pods on because I felt like it was so hard to get the carbs on and off of my bike with that airbox on, and the rubber flanges that connect to the box were falling apart. Living in Colorado, I'm hoping that these may actually help lean out the mixture on my bike which may be a little rich at altitude anyways. Haven't ridden it yet, but I think it should run smoothly on my bike without any rejetting or too much fiddling with the carbs. The pods themselves look really good, were a cinch to install and I can't tell much of a difference between these and the K&N filters.

Fits my 1974 cb550 022A carbs perfectly without touching the frame.

Great price. Good fit.
I installed these on my CB550K 78' and they fit perfectly without getting in the way of the frame or side covers.

As advertised
I have a 76 CB550K that was (not)equipped with individual Uni-Filters. There was only one ragged piece of foam and 4 pieces of rubber clamped to the intake. I ordered these after measuring to make sure there was room, and when they came, they fit just fine. Only problem was the choke wouldn't close completely, so I "fine-tuned" them by moving them a bit farther away from the inlets, yet still good enough to seal. The bike evidently hadn't been re-jetted for the Uni-Filters, so it's jetting time now. And, they look pretty nice, really. Hope the jetting works. Thanks for the great product at a very good price!
