Note: Tank is bare metal with no paint, clear coat or treatment. Tank is new but will have some surface rust from shelf life. It will need to be prepped and painted or clear coated. Modification to the motorcycle frame may be required to mount the tank on bikes other than the RD50. Check photos and dimensions before ordering. On close inspection the tanks are not perfect and may have some minor superficial imperfections.
Note: This is a reproduction of the RD50 stock tank. The Yamaha RD50 is a non US model originally produced in the late 70's to early 80's.

Good tank for a project bike
Used to replace the rusty/pinhole tank on my 79 CB125, tank came in good shape, although it was a little rough around some of the seams. Nothing a few minutes with a grinder couldn't fix. I ended up sanding with 320 grit and then spraying clear coat, you could definitely get a good paint finish on this with minimal filler and prep work. Did have to make some custom front mounts to work on the CB, but that was expected.
