Throttle Switch Assembly - Yamaha RD400 - 1976-1979

Reproduction throttle switch assembly for the Yamaha RD400 from 1976-1979. It's common for the stock switches to wear and corrode from decades of use. Sometimes the stock wires become brittle and break easily, so pick up a new switch and get back on the road!

If you are running aftermarket handlebars check to make sure the 21" wire harness is long enough. This switch is designed to have the wires run outside the handlebars.

• Wire harness overall length = 21"
• Wire colors: 2 Male bullet terminals, blue, red/yellow line, dual female bullet terminal blue/black line, 2 pin plastic terminal red/white line & brown

Note: 1978-1979 models may require modification to the wiring connections. 1979 model does not use the light switch. Check photo closely before purchasing.
