UNI foam air filter / cleaner for the Honda CB500 and CB550 models listed. UNI Air Filters are unsurpassed in airflow, dirt stopping and overall performance. Instruction Note: For model CB500 prior to 1974, filter is ready for use. For units with breather tube connected to air filter (after 1974), extract the red foam piece from the 1" hole and discard. This is easily accomplished with tip end of pliers, tweezers, etc.

Foam air filter cb 550 k 1977
Filter was a great fit and the bike has never been the same. The stock paper filter was too restrictive in regards to air flow to the carburetors. The oil impregnated filter difference was immediate and the bike runs superbly. An excellent substitute for the old paper filter.
