Universal float level gauge. This is a heavy duty metal tool for measuring the carburetor float height. It's important to make sure the float height is correct so there isn't too much or too little fuel in the float bowl. It has mm markings up to 45mm, but the float height can be measured up to 40mm. Two of the arms are adjustable so it is a universal tool that can be used on most carburetors. Make sure to measure both sides of the float and make adjustments so they are the same exact height.

Super basic
Works fine, it does what it needs to do. A bit loose as far as fit and finish, in fact a bit sloppy. But as little as I use it, it’s fine. A pro who uses it more regularly might want a quality caliper instead.

Universal tool
Much better than using a credit card cutout. If you use the gauge on CB550 carbs, fitting the tool between carb bodies can be tricky. Wonderful to use, purchased one for myself and my father.
