APE heavy duty cylinder studs for the CB500 & CB550.
Heavy duty cylinder studs are necessary to prevent head gasket leakage in high compression engines. Stock studs are made from poor material that will stretch and allow gasket leakage. Cylinder Studs
They worked great in our 1975 Honda CB550K1. They are much heavier duty than the original studs. The threads are correct and the length is correct. Highly recommend.

Faulty metal
I had one shear off before reaching the manual specified 16 ft/lbs of torque. These are the ONLY bolts available though, so I guess you'll have to try your luck. I am now contemplating buying a second set form here just to replace the one broken stud.
