Carburetor passage plug made of Viton rubber. Viton is the best material available for carburetor parts because it will not swell after contacting fuel. This little plug goes on top of the hole between the main jet and the pilot jet. Once the stock plugs harden they don't do their job anymore. It's a strange system, but since it's Honda, they must have known what they were doing.

Height: 8.8mm
Diameter at top: 8mm
Diameter at bottom: 5.9mm

    Carb passage plugs

Invaluable!!!! They don’t come in rebuild kits and you can’t get your carb jetting right without them. I bought 2 sets just to have the extra’s!

Looking for a replacement of the Honda OEM which is no longer available. This part was the exact thing that I needed.

    Better than the originals

Posted by seacaptainjoe on 20th Apr 2018

Swapped these in while rebuilding the carbs in my 1983 CM450A. Honestly I probably could have gotten away with reusing the old ones, but less than $3 for complete peace of mind was well worth it. These plugs have a much snugger fit than the originals they replaced. I cannot say if that is a design difference or if the old ones were worn over time, but either way these are better than the originals because of the tighter fit.
