This crankshaft oil seal was used on the left or right side depending on your model. On the CB650SC it was used on the right side, on the CB350F/400F/550 it was used on the left side. We also have the right side seal. Note that there are a few models listed below where this wasn't used as a crankshaft seal, there is a note next to those models stating where it was used.
This is a high quality new seal produced in Taiwan. When it comes to rubber parts and seals it's generally better to install a brand new part instead of using a NOS part which has hardened due to age.
Clean everything thoroughly and install the new seal with a deep socket with the same outer diameter as the seal or a seal driver. Make sure to push it in evenly. An oil tight engine puts the mind at ease and it keeps the engine lubricated!
