    Great Aftermarket Coil

Posted by Cory Taylor on 17th Feb 2018

As always I received the parts I ordered within 3 days of placing said order. I live in east tennessee and coming from California I'm impressed to say the least of this company's commitment to getting parts to their customers in a timely matter. The coils themselves fit well and only needed a little fiddling to get right on my cb550k. Only thing is I wish that these guys could fab up a bracket to help drop the coils down for ease of installation. Otherwise I am completely happy with the parts I received, as well as the price I paid for them. I will continue to use 4 into 1 for all of my classic Honda needs.

    Basic coils

Posted by Unknown on 5th Oct 2017

Worked well and much needed in my bike. Very basic coil. Mounting was no issue in my bike. Smallish issue - product does not allow for a wire change as the coil and wires are as "one unit". Also, no new plug caps included - remember to keep your own. So far 500 miles on these coils and no issues.

    Nice

Posted by Scott on 11th May 2015

Just used a pair of these to replace the stock coils on my 1975 Honda CB550K. Plug and play replacement, no adapting needed - with the exception (that others have noted here) of needing to get the male bullet connector on these coils mated to the male bullet lead on the bike. Rather than mess with any wire cutting or splicing, I picked up a 5-pack of female-to-female bullet adaptors at O'Reilly. Part #85475 if anyone's interested. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/CTI0/85475/N0215.oap?ck=Search_N0215_-1_2309&pt=N0215&ppt=C0189 I have no connection to the retailer, just offering a solution to the hiccup others have had with installation.

You need to use the supplied Spacers and Long Bolts (1973 CB350F)

Posted by Unknown on 1st Oct 2014

Received in a short amount of time was a plus. The down side was that is came with no instructions. I determined that due to the connectors on the coil hitting the mounting bracket, you must use the supplied spacers to lift the coil above the brackets. I trimmed the spacers down to have more space on the supplied bolts to tighten it down. I also had to drill out the stock holes in the bracket to accept the supplied bolts and had to change one wire connector from a male to a female. I assume the do it this so that this coil will fit multiple models and years.

    CB 350F runs great now

Posted by Justin M on 8th Jun 2014

I replaced both coils on my 1972 cb350f with these reproduction coils. The bike is running great so far. The plug wires are extra long, which is good so you can trim them down and make them fit without too much slack touching the pipes or to little slack causing a stretch in the wires. The coil packs sit perfectly in the mounting holes of my bike. I had to use the original mounting screws since the new screws provided were too long, not a problem though. The only hiccup is the coil packs come with male bullet connectors at the ends of the small wires that connect to the wiring harness. My bike needed one male and one female so I had to cut off and crimp on a couple new female ends. Not a big deal in my opinion for a reproduction part that fits many different bikes.
