This dual output high performance Magna coil is best used with CDI, aftermarket electronic ignitions and factory electronic ignitions. Some of the models in the Kawasaki / Suzuki fitment list came stock with points type ignitions, but it is common to upgrade to an electronic ignition. For points type ignitions, we suggest using the 5 ohm version. Sold individually.

Specifications:

  • Primary Resistance = 3 ohms
  • Secondary Resistance = 13,000 ohms
  • Mounting Holes = 90mm or 102mm (measured center to center)
  • Mounting Posts = 13mm Width x 12mm Height
  • Includes Hardware, wiring and boots shown in the photo.

NOTE: When choosing the right coil for your bike, never select a coil with a lower resistance than your ignition system, this will cause the coils to overheat and burn out. Before selecting a coil, check the coil primary resistance requirements as specified by the manufacturer of the ignition being used. Wires can be mounted on either terminal (no polarity + or - ). Some models below may require custom mounting brackets.
