Stainless steel Allen bolt set for the Honda CB550 Fours from 1974-1976. Replace the stock bolts with stronger, anti-corrosive Allen bolts. Set includes 57 bolts, 11 washers and 2 Allen wrenches.

Includes bolts for: cylinder head cover, left and right engine covers (points, clutch, alternator, sprocket and starter motor cover).
The washers go under 8 of the cylinder head cover screws with washers from the factory, one of the alternator cover screws, and two starter motor cover screws.

NOTE: Does not include instructions. Match the included bolts to the ones you're replacing to find the correct locations. Some Allen bolts are not the exact length of the stock bolts. They are the closest available size that fits.

NOTE: Coat the threading with anti-seize before installation to prevent fusing.

Fits Honda:

CB550F Super Sport - 1975-1976
CB550K Four - 1974-1976

    NICE IDEA

For the most part, these are a good replacement for the old hex/phillips bolts on the cylinder head cover, although most of them are way too long and will gouge at the fins and tappet covers. Replacing the phillips bolts holding down the breather cover with these will result in puncturing the soft aluminum caps below, dropping fragments of metal into the oil around the camshaft. Then you'll have the pleasure of removing the cam cover to clean it all out. Maybe cut them down to match the old bolts first and BE CAREFUL.

    A Great Upgrade!

I needed to do some head work on my 73 cb500 so I decided to just do everything in frame. I had to replace the old (and mostly stripped) phillips bolts. Getting them off was a huge pain even with an impact screwdriver. These fit nice and snug and the provided allen key fit in the small gaps on the frame. The only reason I wouldn't give these 5 stars is that some of the bolts were much longer than they needed to be. This made matching up the old bolts tricky. I'm otherwise very pleased with these! 4into1 always seems to have what I need and the ship time is fast! Fyi I priced out all these bolts at a local hardware store before ordering and it would've cost about $30, so these are a steal.

Nice, sturdy, shiny. So far only used to replace left side cover JIS bolts. These are a bit deeper than stock but still fit flush - just spay the 40yr of grit out of the hole and threads first

Who even likes Phillips bolts anyway?

I sure as heck don’t. These Allen bolts are shiny and new, without all the effort you’re going to have to put into making those wallowed-out Phillips bolts look presentable again. Plus they’re Allen heads! 5mm! So much easier to work with! Why haven’t you bought them yet?!
