Carburetor repair or rebuild kit 4 pack for Honda CB500K four cylinder model. This kit comes with a shaped float bowl gasket made of high quality viton rubber so it will not swell after coming in contact with fuel. It also comes with the emulsifier tube which is usually stuck in place after a bike has been sitting for a long time. The best way to tap it out is to remove the top cover and the slide, then use a punch to gently push it out.

NOTE: You will need to adjust your float hight to match the lower float needle valve that come in this kit. The float height should be 22mm, needle position 4th groove from the top, idle mix screw 2 turns out.

Looks good to me!
Looks like everything is in the box. Shipping was outstanding. Wpuldve gotten here super early if USPS didn't drop the ball on delivery. It worked out in the end. Cant wait to install everything and hear this baby purr! Awesome price for the kit you get. Time will tell how good it holds up.

the old girl,a 1972 cb500 was in need of a bit of TLC as she had been sitting around idle for too many years. the problem was it would not idle. pulled the carburettors apart fitted the repair kit and presto sounded and runs like the day she came off the production line. very happy with the kit and more so with the service provided by 4 into 1. thanks heaps.

NOT OEM Brass
gaskets and orings are good, but the brass is not the same as OEM.

Bad fuel needles
fuel leaks badly passed the needle valves ,ended up reusing original. Same happened with the second kit purchased. As you can appreciate the work to fit these when they end up not working , not happy at all !!

Bad fuel needles
(Used in stock 500-4 carbs) All 4 of the needle valves are not the right taper. They do not seal properly in the new seats provided and fuel leaks by until it floods the carbs/motor. When compared next to the original needles you can clearly see they are the wrong size needle. I had to use my old stock needles to stop the fuel from leaking past and over filling the bowls. Other than that the other parts were just okay, they are clearly very cheaply poorly made parts. I’ll be looking for a better quality set to soon replace this kit.

Not quite as advertised
While the rest of the kit worked fine, the kit was advertised to be made from a material that would not absorb gas and swell. This was incorrect as the carbs were opened shortly afterware and the gaskets were terribly swollen. Luckily, the original gaskets were saved and in good shape and I used them instead.
