Ultimate carburetor repair or rebuild kits for the Honda CB550K models from 1974-1976. This kit comes with a shaped float bowl gasket made of high quality viton rubber so it will not swell after coming in contact with fuel. It also comes with the emulsifier tube which is usually stuck in place after a bike has been sitting for a long time. The best way to tap it out is to remove the top cover and the slide, then use a punch to gently push it out.
Includes 4 floats with pins, and 4 carburetor rebuild kits. Made in Taiwan.
NOTE: Make sure to adjust the float height after installing the new needles and seats.
Each Carburetor Kit Includes:
Shaped Float bowl gasket
Needle Valve & Seat
D26 Needle & Clip
Air Adjustment Screw & Spring
Main Jet #100
Slow Jet #38
Emulsifier Tube
Top Cover Gasket
o-rings

Careful
Installed slow jet and one snapped. Found it on the second rebuild. Also, the comment about the spring. I noticed the spring is digging into the air mixture screw and undead small fragments of brass are getting scraped off with every turn. I’m reusing my original springs. Frustrating that things like this are missed as dealing with the carburetor is frustrating enough.

Great price
This was for a 1975 CB550k. Bike is running great and I only had to adjust 1 float. Like a new bike again.

Carb kit
This is a great kit. Not the best out there but perfect for the guy who's just tryin to get his bike on the road. Everything went together great. Had to knock the carbs a few times to get everything seated properly but the bike is running like top.

Quality control issues
I only take issue with two parts in this kit: 1) emulsifier tube: bleed holes are drilled and inside of tube not deburred. Unless you have a tiny metric ream set or exact drill bit, you are using a rattail file. If you installed and failed to notice, your motor will likely aspirate brass after the needle peels the burrs loose. 2) idle air screw spring: it is a right handed spring. stock is left-handed, for a reason. spring wire end will peel bits of brass off of the idle air screw as you tighten and the wire end points into the turn. The molded bowl o-ring is nice and an easy install, needle profile appears to match stock.
