    Garbage

Very low quality. Splines don't line up. Didn't fit my 1970 CB450 and now I have to find another one. Don't wast your time on this one.

Basic shifter kind of flimsy I see myself bending it at some point but works for now.

    Gear Shift Lever Long Honda

I saw comments in previous reviews that this lever does not fit correctly, but I decided to take a chance. to be clear this lever does not fit a 1980 CB750F. Makes contact with the side stand spring making it unable to downshift. Not sure about other models but won't work on the above application.

A perfect fit and preferable to the original short lever.

This shift lever would be perfect if it fit my bike. (It says it does in the description) Unfortunately it is curved to where it hits my side stand. If I position it differently it would fit, but it would be near impossible to shift gears :(

Did not fit my 1972 CL175

Posted by Ruky Somasundera on 12th Oct 2019

I bought it to replace the shorter shift lever that I had trouble getting my foot under to upshift. First off this had an obvious bend/curve to the design that it looked like it was the right solution. However when you measure the distance from the pivot point to the end of the lever, it was very close to the length of the shorter one. This had me wondering if this was the correct part. This shifter however, had a long bend in it. When I installed it on my bike the bend was protruding out so much it would hit the foot pegs and not clear it in order to mount the foot pegs back on to the frame. So I put the shift lever on a vise stretched it out buy hammering in the bend. This increased the length from the pivot point to end of shifter just enough to be able to ride my bike wearing shoes (size 10.5). Ultimately the shift lever looks pretty mangled due to the rather canibalistic measure I took to stretch it and reshape it to fit on my bike. I don’t think this was the right solution for me.
